Mayor John Suthers announced the launch of the 2022 2C-funded paving season. An estimated 170 lane miles citywide are scheduled to be repaved under the program this year, including sections of Austin Bluffs Parkway, Briargate Boulevard, Cresta Road, Aeroplaza Drive and Royal Pine Drive.

The Platte Avenue over Sand Creek project will be installing the final set of girders as part of the third phase of the bridge replacement Monday, Feb.7, resource and weather dependent. To lessen traffic impacts, the installation is scheduled overnight, 8 p.m. through 5 a.m.
